My Approach to Helping
My approach is to have passion for learning who people are by creating meaningful therapeutic relationships. In this alliance, people explore the freedom to find purpose within the counseling practice. Together, we will continuously work to create an environment where you enjoy the process of therapy, even when things get tough (which I encourage). I bring a non-judgmental genuine kindness that conveys care and concern for you and your family. Together, we will use behavioral treatments coupled with emotional awareness practices geared towards stopping what is not working and increasing what is.
More Info About My Practice
At one time or another all of us face something in our life holding us back from what we want to accomplish. Situations of anxiety, unwanted emotions and behaviors can be overwhelming. Although, if your fed up with what you have been dealing with then it is time to find an alternative route. Together, we will create the freedom to unleash the problem and explore working avenues towards personal growth and emotional healing. I work with social phobias, OCD, and anxiety with a combination of behavioral techniques and emotional regulation practices to help find space for achieving and overcoming the unwanted barriers.
When considering behavioral modalities, it is important to be in a place of personal readiness to ensure you are maximizing your efforts in healing. Therapy can be brief, to the point and productive.

I have completed work to ensure I meet the needs of a variety of couple and family situations. I strive towards continued achievement and will work as your mental health provider helping you to do the same.
