My Approach to Helping
I work with clients who are seeking self-understanding, growth, and healing. Many of my clients seek counseling because they are suffering from anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma. I approach each client from a holistic, strengths-based perspective. I will work with you to understand what has brought you to counseling, both the immediate and underlying concerns. Using an integrative approach that draws from IFS, ACT, and MBCT, I will help you to address your concerns and achieve your therapeutic goals.
I believe that everyone deserves to live a life that is full of peace, joy, and meaning. If you have emotions, thoughts, or past experiences that impede your ability to be fully present, living the life you want can feel impossible. In counseling, I will provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your experiences in a way that allows you to move towards healing. As you heal, more space is created for you to feel, think, and act in ways that are in line with your true values, moving you towards the life you envision for yourself.
