My Approach to Helping
I take a relationship-based approach in my work as a therapist. I believe that healing occurs when we are truly in relationship with ourselves and others. If we have been wounded in relationship, we must heal in relationship, which can include the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. I utilize experiential therapy in my work, including Gestalt therapy, somatic therapy, nature-based therapy and mindfulness. I specialize in eating disorders, self-esteem issues and body dysmorphia along with trauma, PTSD and post-traumatic growth.
