My Approach to Therapy
My name is Corrie Alvarez and Im a Licensed Professional Counselor. I help clients develop and integrate new patterns into their lives that can bring them out of crisis, enhance their lives, and help them transition into their new normal. I encourage clients to focus on what they can control, to activate in positive ways, and to problem solve.
I am an employee of my clients and it is my job to eventually make myself no longer needed. I am direct but gentle, and I always strive to be kind. Maintaining professionalism is important to me as I help my clients more successfully and comfortably navigate their lives.
