My Approach to Helping

If you are looking for a seasoned therapist who is committed to helping you achieve lasting change as quickly as possible, welcome! I have been a therapist for over 10 years. I have advanced training in Brainspotting (a powerful, focused, body-based treatment method similar to EMDR) and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), the gold standard for couples therapy. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I can work with individuals or relationships, but I will always think of you (and the problems we work on together) in the larger context of your relationships, your past, and the systems you live within. I want to support your healing in a way that is affirmative and meaningful to YOU!

From our very first session, we will work together to create meaningful therapy goals specific to what you want out of your sessions with me. You deserve to get measurably better! The more healing that needs to be done, the longer therapy takes, but my goal is always to "work myself out of a job" because you have achieved what we set out to accomplish.

Call to schedule an appointment with me. I offer both online and in-person therapy. Online therapy allows me to work beyond the limits of Spokane, serving clients located throughout Washington State.

More Info About My Practice

I am a clinical supervisor for mental health professionals in Washington State. My approach to supervision is integrative and collaborative. While I am not yet an AAMFT approved supervisor, I am an MFT, so my clinical approach has a relational and systemic lens. I offer supervision virtually, and also in-person at my office in Spokane. If you choose to work with me as your supervisor, expect me to enthusiastically emphasize your development of ethical practice, and also your attunement to and protection of your worth as a therapist!
