My Approach to Therapy

Many of the people who come to Clear Moon Therapy are used to holding everything together. They show up for work, family, relationships, and responsibilities, but underneath they feel anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. Some are struggling with overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, burnout, or self-doubt. Others are navigating relationship challenges, family expectations, cultural pressures, major life transitions, or simply the feeling that life has become harder than it should be. Our approach is collaborative, practical, and compassionate. We don't believe you need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy, and you don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. Therapy is a space to slow down, better understand what you're carrying, and explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Our therapists draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT-informed therapy, EFT, and trauma-informed care. More importantly, we tailor therapy to the person sitting in front of us. Some clients are looking for practical tools and strategies. Others want to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, process difficult experiences, or build a healthier relationship with their emotions. Often, the work involves a combination of both. At Clear Moon Therapy, we strive to create a space where you can show up as you are without feeling judged, pressured, or expected to have the right words. Over time, our goal is to help you feel more confident, more grounded, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges while staying connected to yourself. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or cultural and identity-related experiences, we're here to help you find a therapist who feels like the right fit.

My Practice & Services

You don't need to have a crisis to start therapy. Many of the people who reach out to us have been thinking about therapy for months or even years before booking a consultation. They often wonder if what they're experiencing is "serious enough," tell themselves they should be able to handle it on their own, or worry about being a burden to others. Some are navigating anxiety that never seems to switch off. Others are feeling burnt out from constantly taking care of everyone else. Some are struggling in relationships, feeling disconnected from themselves, or trying to balance family expectations with their own needs and values. If you're not sure where to start, that's okay. One of the benefits of working with a group practice is that we can help match you with a therapist based on what you're looking for. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, cultural identity experiences, or life transitions, we'll work with you to find a therapist who feels like a good fit. Therapy doesn't require you to have the right words or a perfectly clear goal. Sometimes the first step is simply acknowledging that carrying everything on your own isn't working anymore. You deserve support before things reach a breaking point.

Groups I Work With

At Clear Moon Therapy, we support adults, young adults, and teens across Ontario, and we also support couples and families through our team. We have a strong focus on working with BIPOC clients, particularly South Asian individuals, including those navigating cultural identity, intergenerational expectations, and immigrant experiences. We often work with high-functioning individuals who may appear “fine” on the outside, but are experiencing anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, and emotional overwhelm internally. We also support clients navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and trauma.
