My Approach to Helping
Do you need support in working through heartbreak, grief, depression, confusion or other negative feelings? I understand that life burdens can be hard to manage, and at times, you may feel overwhelmed with no hope in sight. As someone who believes deeply in the importance or self-care and treating individuals holistically it is my pleasure to provide counseling services to those seeking to improve their lives.
I use a combination of therapy techniques including cognitive therapy, mindfulness meditation, life coaching, trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused methods to help you on your journey of self-improvement. With me you will receive treatment that has an emphasis on your strengths, needs, and abilities.
Together we will create an individualized treatment plan based on your presenting problems. It will be my goal to assist you in achieving the goals you have set for yourself in a judgement free compassionate manner.
