Chris Smallwood is a Supervisee in Clinical Social Work who has over 15 years of experience. He specializes in working with those dealing with adjustment issues, stress, anger, anxiety, depression and other mood diagnoses, trauma, unresolved and complicated grief, addiction, and substance use challenges. Chris enjoys working with a wide range of clients from adolescents to older adults. Chris completed his bachelor's degree in psychology at Virginia Tech, his master's degree in health promotion, and his master's degree in social work at Concord University. He utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, trauma-focused therapy, and much more.
