My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Every one of us is a contextual being with a unique narrative that shapes us. Like any story, there are beautiful and broken aspects of our lives. Sometimes the broken includes a tapestry of heartache, loss, abuse, addiction, trauma, or strained relationships. On the other end, we want to unfold, unravel, seek the most beautiful, adventurous aspect of our lives to maximize our human potential for growth, development, and personalrelational fulfillment.

Furthermore the hurt or hindrances caused by life experiences can sometimes wreak havoc in our lives - keeping us stuck, troubled, anxious or depressed.

At Narrative Counseling, we believe there is another way to live. Healing andor change is possible. Counseling is a powerful tool to facilitate the process of unraveling the challenges in our lives that hinder certain parts of our stories from moving forward.

Your story can move forward to a new chapter of health, wholeness, and freedom.
