My Approach to Helping
Stress, fear, anxiety, anger. These are all emotions that can take over and leave us feeling depressed, anxious and at times, suicidal. Despite how bad things may get and how bad you may feel, there are therapies and interventions that can help. I am a clinical psychologist trained in many modalities with specialization in interventions for problems related to emotion dysregulation, trauma exposure, complex co-occurring mental health disorders and parenting aka behavior management training. I believe that you are doing the best you can and that by using evidence-based treatments that align with your values, you can have the life that you want. Starting therapy and seeking help and support are difficult and it can be the best next step to feeling better.
