My Approach to Helping

I specialize in adult and adolescent (13+) mental health and substance use disorder treatment. I have worked with diverse populations for over 18 years in Houston, TX including treatment for those with chronic mental health concerns; individuals suffering from Trauma and Stress related disorders, Depression, Bipolar, Eating Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders and Personality Disorders. I have significant experience with therapy for complicated grief and loss issues as well as trauma and substance use concerns.

Cultural diversity, trauma informed care and theory-based interventions are fundamental to my practice of social work. I graduated from Prairie View A&M with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2008 and went on to obtain my Master’s degree from the University of Houston in 2009. It is my desire to offer quality interactive healing to those that I serve.
