My Approach to Helping
Psychotherapy is a process that offers an opportunity to explore and understand yourself and your experiences more deeply. In our earliest relationships, we develop ways of thinking, feeling, and being in relationships with ourselves, others, and the world. Exploring these patterns within the context of a warm and understanding relationship may lead to increased awareness and insight, which in turn can lead to the ability to make conscious choices about our lives and the ways that we relate to ourselves and others.
I provide individual psychotherapy and counseling to adults 18 and older. In my practice, I focus on issues including anxiety, depression, life transitions, eating and body image concerns, existential and philosophical concerns, concerns about social media use, and grief and loss. I also enjoy working with clients who identify as neurodivergent.
Psychotherapy and counseling will look a little different for each client and with each particular therapist. It's important to find a good "fit" for you. I offer a free fifteen-minute consultation to help determine whether I am a good fit for your needs. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my practice.
