My Approach to Helping

My approach is tailored to each client's need- whether you have a specific goal or are simply in need of a supportive space. Everyone has inherent strength that can be drawn upon. Our work together will center around diminishing the struggles that you feel and increasing your enjoyment of life.
My experience comes from working in governmental, educational, healthcare, and community healthcare settings, with children and adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, illness, loss, relationships, women's, children's, and adolescent issues, as well as a strong background and knowledge of working with neurodiverse individuals.
I work from a variety of perspectives including CBT, TF-CBT, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, Strength-Based, and Person-Centered Therapy.
I will work with you to find the most effective approach to your life; often this is a combination of looking at how past events affect your present, as well as implementing effective coping skills for current stressors.
