My Approach to Helping

Maybe it's anxiety, or depression. Maybe it's ADHD or burnout. Maybe it's a new stressor or life change. Whatever it is, if you want more joy in your life, counseling with me is the right next step for you.
My approach to counseling is attachment-based, trauma-informed, and positive psychology forward…meaning I offer warmth and compassion while also offering more directive and practical solutions to help you reach your goals. I also use EMDR to help people truly believe—deep down—that they are enough just as they are.

I offer in-person and telehealth sessions for adults. I also offer EMDR intensives for this who want a deep amount of healing in a short amount of time. I don’t take insurance. A Superbill can be provided upon request.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
You should not have to wait until your life is in crisis to receive wisdom, guidance, and help. Therapy is for everyone who wants to grow and have a life full of hope, meaning, and joy.

2) Clarity: I can help you get clear on the beliefs that hold you back and what you actually want for your life. I believe in.
3) Action: I don't just talk circles around your problems. I help you take wise actions that move your life forward. and I believe in.
4) Play! I won't leave you in the heaviness of your problems. I want to help you invite fun and play back into your life so you can enjoy life again.
