My Approach to Helping
Bjorne Reid, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate is an ambitious individual who enjoys working to better the social and emotional needs of children. She earned her Bachelors as well as Master's Degree in Social Work at Norfolk State University and is currently working to obtain her licensure as a License Clinical Social Worker. She possesses more than 10 years of experience that's comprised of working with individuals, families and children in community-based, school-based and residential settings.
Her goal while working with both individuals and family members is to reform targeted behaviors and barriers that adversely affect daily functioning. Bjorne utilizes an integrative approach specifically designed to meet the needs of each individualfamily.
She often uses techniques from a variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behaviors Therapy while incorporating engaging age appropriate materials. In her spare time, Bjorne enjoys spending time with family, traveling and cuddling with her dog.
