Teresa Helms, PsyD

I am a licensed psychologist who strives to serve my clients in a nonjudgmental and compassionate manner. I work with adults and adolescents struggling with relational difficulties, anxiety, panic, depression, family of origin issues, griefloss, and trauma from an interpersonal-relational perspective. I have worked in community mental health centers, clinics, group practices, and private practices. I am keenly aware of how past relationships and experiences influence current interactions and relationships. Together, we can work to approach relationships with confidence and compassion, process difficult emotions, and develop emotional intelligence. I believe we are all capable of being more of who we strive to be. I aim to be sensitive to the needs of corporate professionals, medical professionals, students, public servantsteachers, athletes, and parents who long to be the best they can be. For me, the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important and intimate relationships we will encounter in life. I look forward to taking this journey with you!
