My Approach to Helping
I want you to feel good. For over three decades I have been helping people reach their emotional goals and improve their relationships. My goal is to work with you so that you will be feeling good as soon as possible. I believe that psychotherapy needs to be effective, efficient, and accountable. In my three decades of professional psychotherapy, I have been trained in many schools of therapy. I found the most effective framework for therapy is an advanced form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy called TEAM-CBT. When we work together we will track your progress and improvements on a weekly basis and I will elicit from you feedback concerning the effectiveness of my work with you. My goal is to be 100% effective. Additionally, I have found that it is almost impossible to help you solve your issues before I understand your situation completely. And you will be the judge of whether or not I understand you. Once both you and I are convinced that we are on the same page I will be able to offer you techniques and methods to help you overcome your particular difficulties.
By working together I will be able to give you tools that you can take with you and use for the rest of your life to avoid overwhelming depression, anxiety, and relationship problems.
