My Approach to Helping
Therapy can be one of the most rewarding things you can do for yourself. Therapy is a personal journey, and I am honored to be the therapist to help you expand and strengthen your insight and awareness. My goal is to help you understand yourself better and equip you with the skills to actualize your best self.
My therapy style is developmental and supportive, with a strong focus on thinking about our thinking. We can work together to reframe narratives in order to create a healthier, more self-compassionate internal dialogue of self-acceptance. My approaches are engaging, workable, and direct.
I have over 20 years of experience treating symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, stress, feelings of overwhelm, life transition difficulties, grief, and trauma.
I use a variety of treatment modalities, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, ACT, Existential Therapy, and Mindfulness. I am encouraging and non-judgmental, and my goal is to engage each individual in a way that best meets their needs.
