Do you wonder why your teen won't talk to you? Are you worried that heshe is making bad choices? I can help your family close the generation gap by teaching your teenager how to communicate with you in a healthier way. Many parents I work with are exhausted and don't know what to do. More Info About My Practice
If you are having the same arguments over and over, I can help you feel understood and listened to. I take a Solution Focused approach so that you and your family learn new skills to get back on track. Most people who work with me stay in counseling short term because I do not believe people need long term counseling in most cases.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I specialize in working with teens who have lost a parent who has died or abandoned them. For over 15 years, I have worked with teens who come into therapy because their grades have gone down, they have "bad attitudes," gotten into trouble, drug abuse, or they have run away. However, there is usually an underlying issue. I am passionate about helping teens work through their issues so that they can have healthy relationships.
