My Approach to Helping
My therapeutic style is based on transpersonal psychology which is solution focused and person centered. I use modalities such as mindfulness, meditation, and inner child work in order to increase resilience and enhance connection and meaning in life. I support and motivate clients to develop their own goals to move forward in life. An important aspect of my work is to help clients find connection and navigate relationships.
Each individuals unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs are taken into consideration when developing a treatment plan, which includes combining a holistic approach with evidence-based practice. The goal is to not alter who you are, but adjust how you respond and be a guide. I work from a variety of validating approaches that empower and motivate people in the therapeutic process.
