My Approach to Helping

I truly enjoy working with each of my clients and feel blessed to be a part of their lives, during both their challenging seasons and for all of their wins. I especially appreciate a client that is ready to identify what they want in life, make their desired changes, and work on creating healthier habits and relationships. I aim to create a warm and welcoming space for clients to feel safe in, as they come to work on healing their hurts and reaching their goals. I think my clients are the experts on themselves, and sessions will usually reflect that, as I enjoy working with my clients to identify what is helpful and unhelpful in their lives and in their mental health treatment. I may look to different therapeutic theories and techniques that address things like attachment styles, environmental factors, cognitive distortionsbehaviors and more.
