My Approach to Helping

Every couple goes through rocky times. Whether you’re rehashing the same arguments over and over, missing the closeness you once had, or in a full relationship crisis, seeking help from a therapist can help you map out a path toward restoration and healing. Being in a relationship is hard work, and we all experience times when our dream relationship is not our reality. The great news is that you can get back those warm feelings that drew you together in the beginning. I can help you make sense of the struggles you face and explore conflict in a way that brings clarity, understanding, and intimacy back into your relationship.

My goal is to help you protect, preserve, and strengthen your relationship. Sharing that value, I will work with you through the blocks to make meaningful changes.

More Info About My Practice

I truly love working with couples to improve their relationships. I have undergone rigorous training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, an empirically-validated form of couples therapy. I am passionate about EFT and helping couples to develop and strengthen strong and lasting emotional bonds and closeness. By identifying the negative cycles you’re stuck in and the unmet emotional longings that are driving them, you can build a bond of trust and openness about your needs that draws you and your partner closer.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in relationship transitions such as engagement, marriage, parenthood, and plateaus. I help couples with increasing and improving communication, identifying emotional blind spots, recovering from affairs, and reviving or discovering true intimacy. I bring a compassionate understanding of the tremendous pain and difficulty relationship distress can bring. Call me today and we can start your process of growth and healing.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

It?s powerful to watch couples go from the brink of divorce a place of deep happiness and satisfaction in their relationship. I am simply honored to witness and be a part of that transformation. I believe that anyone can have the close, deep relationship connection that we desire.
