My Approach to Helping

I help teens and adults reconnect to themselves with compassionate, trauma-informed therapy in Belmont, in-person and online across NC. Because your life experiences are unique, your counseling experience should be too. I have an eclectic approach, meaning that your treatment will include a variety of tools and theories tailored to your specific strengths, preferences, and circumstances. Whether you're dealing with past trauma, identity questions, or adjusting to a big life transition, therapy can help you make sense of it all and reconnect with who you are.

I specialize in working with teens (14+) and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), life transitions, identity exploration, stress, and emotional overwhelm.

Many of my clients find that their symptoms are attempts by the body and mind to protect them — strategies that once helped, but now make daily life harder. Together, we’ll explore these patterns with curiosity, not judgment, and build new ways of coping rooted in self-understanding and self-compassion.
