What's My Approach to Therapy?

With over a decade of experience in nursing and advanced practice, I'm uniquely equipped to guide your journey to mental wellness. I am licensed to see patients ages 6+ in both North Carolina and South Carolina. My commitment is to walk alongside you toward the mental clarity and balance you deserve. Healing is never one-size-fits-all, so I take the time to truly understand your unique story, needs, and goals. Whether through thoughtful medication management, integrative approaches, or simply being a steady support, I aim to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself.

If you're battling constant worry, persistent low mood, crushing overwhelm, or struggling with behavioral issues, I can help. My specialty blends expert medication management with integrative care. This dual approach ensures comprehensive care. I create a space where you feel truly heard and understood, guiding you toward lasting balance and clarity.

Feeling lost or unsure of your next steps can be exhausting. Please know there is a better way. I’m here to offer genuine support, not judgment. Your unique story not only matters—it is the key to your healing. I look forward to truly understanding it. If you're ready to make changes and prioritize the help you deserve, I encourage you to reach out.

My Practice & Services

To offer you the most flexibility and focused attention, my practice is primarily a virtual telehealth service, allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your home anywhere in North or South Carolina. While virtual appointments are the norm, I can accommodate in-person sessions on an as-needed basis when required. To prioritize your care over insurance red tape, I operate as a cash-pay provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. This allows us to make collaborative decisions about your treatment without outside influence. As a courtesy, I will gladly provide you with a superbill upon request, which you can easily submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your plan allows. We can discuss all fees and payment options during your initial consultation.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

My philosophy centers on the person, not the label. I believe in treating the symptoms and struggles you are experiencing right now, rather than relying on a static diagnosis, which can often evolve as we acquire more information or as youth grow and develop. Therefore, the core focus of our work is always alleviating your distress and improving your functional capacity. I look at the whole person and their unique path, utilizing a personalized mix of psychopharmacology and integrative therapies to address your specific needs and help you find lasting relief and forward momentum.
