My Approach to Helping

Many of my clients struggle with dread, shame, anxiety, trauma, existential thoughts, as well as negative expectations for themselves and the world around them. Through a combination of evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and a person-centered approach, I walk with my clients on the journey of overcoming these obstacles, toward achieving both their emotional and behavioral goals. I have developed a deep understanding of how to provide individualized support for clients as they explore finding fulfillment, acceptance, and peace in their lives. As a therapist, I am committed to helping clients reach a positive and empowering self-concept, cultivating healthier relationships, both with themselves and with others.
