My Approach to Helping
My approach is to be with you and gently guide you to new and helpful awareness and empowering perspectives whether you are dealing with relationship issues, addictions, or distressing symptoms which may be mental and physical. I work with people to help them cope with difficult situations and resolve emotional complex problems over time. I use a combination of interventions and methods that may be applied to your particular concerns. Counseling is a process that can help lay the foundation to work through deeper psychological issues.
More Info About My Practice
I have opened my current office in Beachwood, Ohio on January 1, 2011. Prior to that, I worked in the counseling field gaining experience working with severe mental illness, development disabilities, and intensive, team approach care. I have certification in Clinical Hypnosis with The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and may utilize this skill when applicable to your care. My orientation is holistic, spiritual, and includes past life regression therapy, attachment repair, and helping people work through traumatic or adverse childhood experiences. I work with military war veterans and help them with their specific concerns and also providing evidence for their compensation claims when this is requested.
My Guiding Ethical Principles
I strongly believe in your personal freedom and self-determination. I may make recommendations or suggestions and work collaboratively with you. I welcome feedback, am highly dependable, and seek out opportunities to challenge myself and learn more so that I may best help people.
