I am a psychotherapist in private practice, with offices in San Francisco and Berkeley. I specialize in psychotherapy with individuals who wish to create lasting, positive changes in their lives and relationships. My personal style is interactive, empathic, and respectful of individual values and choices. I am bicultural and enjoy working with first-generation clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I especially enjoy working with younger adults (20s/30s), people in midlife, and those who are new to therapy. Using a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy methods, I have helped individuals improve coping with immediate stressors and work toward deeper personal growth. Some of the issues I can help with are depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief & loss (recent or delayed). I have specialized training and experience in grief counseling, including Certificate of Completion of the Professional Program in the Study of Loss & Grief, University of California, Berkeley. If you have questions, or to set up an initial appointment, please contact me via voicemail or email.
