The fact that you are looking for a therapist; a person who can support and guide you to a better place within and without deserves acknowledgment. With that said, I believe that you have everything you need within you to heal yourself, and utilize your experiences (even the most challenging) in service to your personal growth. I believe in creating a safe place, and utilizing compassion, intelligence, and humor to allow your own insights to unfold. With in depth training in a number of psychotherapy skills including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, inner-child work, visualization, meditation, and others I explore with you the best practices and techniques that work with your unique personality, belief systems, and needs. I utilize my training as a fitness professional and nutrition coach to support you in addressing physical challenges that could be contributing to mental and emotional disturbances. Together we will explore your relationship with others and yourself: utilizing the art of self-acceptance, and forgiveness while cultivating increased will power and personal strength and responsibility (the ability to respond effectively). Whether you are seeking help with your interpersonal relationships, or your relationship with yourself, I believe therapy can give you the insight and skills, and offer a safe place to explore and learn about your own capabilities, and to accept all aspects of yourself with compassion and grace. Finding that balance between accepting yourself, and discerning the areas in your life that need your attention and work can offer an incredible freedom and space within. I feel uniquely blessed to be able to support my amazing and inspiring clients on that journey.

More Info About My Practice
My Fee is $125 for a 60 minute session, and $175 for a 90 minute session. Most intake (initial) sessions are 90 minutes, and when I work with couples I utilize 90 minute sessions. Payment is due at the time of service, and 24 hours notice is required for cancellation and/or appointment changes, otherwise the full fee will be charged. I accept checks, cash, and credit cards. I do not bill insurance directly (+see below).
I am able to work via telephone and on-line video (such as Skype), and am licensed in both Washington State and California (and have practices in both states).
I do assign homework, reading materials, and request a commitment from my clients that they actively work between sessions on material addressed in session (this is especially true for couples) for maximum successful outcomes.
If my fee is a challenge, yet you feel drawn to work with me, please call me to discuss groups that I offer, and special programs that may offer support at a reduced cost. If I am not able to personally help you, I am committed to assisting you in finding a good fit for you and your budget in the community.
+I have worked in private practice for over 10 years now, and have found it best to not be in direct association with any insurance companies: this assists me in maintaining complete confidentiality and insures the integrity and personal choices of my clients in their own treatment. I will provide a diagnosis page and a "super bill" with the appropriate codes to clients directly, should they like to submit these to their insurance carrier for possible reimbursement (ask your insurance company what your policy reimburses you for "out-of-network" providers).
