As a seasoned human relationship specialist, I help you and your loved ones heal

emotionally. I understand that life can seem unbearable without someone to listen to

your life story and care about changing it for the better. I have worked with individuals,

couples, and families to transform their relationships. One of the ways we achieve this is

by exploring how family and other interpersonal issues from the past may continue to

have negative effects on your life. I believe that we can work collaboratively to heal

emotional wounds.

I specialize in working with young adults and couples facing issues in their relationships.

From a non-blaming stance, we can work through issues related to emotional or physical

infidelity, parenting, post-partum depression, grief, chronic illness, sexual or emotional

abuse, or anything else that could be impacting your life in a negative way.

I have experience working with people from varied cultural, ethnic and spiritual

backgrounds. I readily partner with clients from a faith perspective if that is a part of

their life story, and I understand the importance of spirituality in emotional healing. I'm a

seasoned stakeholder in my own marriage and family, and witnessing transformation in

others' lives is one of the joys of my life.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Discernment Counseling is a special type couples' counseling where one partner is leaning out of the marriage and the other wishes to stay married and to work on fixing issues. People are stuck in this ambivalent situation. In discernment counseling you can expect to:

*gain clarity and confidence about what you can do next to decide about your marriage.
*strive for a deeper understanding of your marriage.
*look at your marital issues from three sides: yours, your spouse's, and that of an objective, non-blaming therapist in order to make an informed decision about whether to move towards divorce, or make one wholehearted effort to revitalize your marriage to well being.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
