I utilize an approach in therapy in which you are considered to be the expert in your own life. I believe that you are trying to do your best at any given moment based on the information you have available at the time. I utilize a system of exploration that is aimed at discovering the connection between your thoughts and feelings and how this impacts your behaviors and causes consequences. I believe that all behaviors have consequences; both negative and positive. I believe it is important to develop an awareness of how the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of your being contribute to balance and wholeness. These are the fundamental elements from which I work to help you achieve the goals you wish to accomplish. I base my work on three key principles: acceptance, compassion, and trust.

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to assist others on their path to recovery. It is truly an honor to develop the therapeutic relationship and join with my clients in a deep, validating, and meaningful way.
