I'm so glad you're here and thinking about getting help. It is often such a courageous, vulnerable step to reach out for support. I'd love to share a little bit about myself so you can decide if I'd be a good fit for you.
I've been a psychologist and couples therapist for over 13 years, and I'm passionate about helping men, women, and couples heal old wounds, learn new skills, and grow into healthier, happier human beings. If you choose to work with me, we can discover together where you're struggling in your life and come up with new solutions. Therapy can be a challenging process at times, but I'm committed to providing a warm, caring, and safe environment for you and supporting you with the compassion, gentle humor, and encouragement you need to reach your goals.
I'd love to learn more about you and talk with you about how I might be able to help. If you feel like I'd be a good match for you, please give me a call or visit my website to learn more about how I can help.

More Info About My Practice
I have a master's degree and a doctorate in clinical psychology, as well as advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an approach that research has shown to be the most effective style of couple therapy. When I'm not working with clients, I love spending time with my family and friends, gardening, practicing yoga, running, and finding any excuse to be outside.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I'm especially passionate about helping couples build better relationships. Though many couples are anxious about starting therapy together, I've found it to be an incredibly meaningful and effective process. If you and your partner are struggling to connect, fighting all the time, or losing your spark, don't hesitate to reach out and get help--it can be so much better!
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
There's an old joke that there are two kinds of people in the world--those who are in therapy and those who need therapy. While that may not be exactly right, there's a lot of truth to the idea that we all need help at different points in our lives, and it is those of us with the courage to be vulnerable who end up getting the tools we need to get ahead and feel better.
