The decision to begin therapy can be intimidating, overwhelming, or maybe even exciting. My hope is that this first step will instill hope that you will find the help you're looking for, and that I can give you a sense of who I am both as a person and your potential therapist. Successful counseling is based on a respectful, connected, and collaborative therapeutic relationship that is the foundation for change. I aim to create a safe and comfortable space for you to first heal your wounds and create insight about what may be holding you back, and then together we will determine what we can do so you can begin nourishing yourself, caring for important relationships, inspiring creativity, and living your passions. The journey to a nourished life begins within, and I'd like to help you on your path!

On a more personal note, I enjoy the outdoors, health and fitness, painting, and reading. My favorite foods are French fries and pizza. I'm originally from Florida and have been living in Colorado for the past 8 years, enjoying the crisp mountain air and sunshine. Everyday I do my best as a therapist, friend, partner, daughter, and aunt. On days when my best falls short, I try to take my own advice and meet my shortcomings with compassion rather than judgment. The best part about being a therapist is getting to know new clients, developing a relationship with them built on trust and respect, and watching them grow and thrive.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Talking with an unbiased, compassionate, and skilled professional can do wonders for your mental health. If you are struggling with symptoms such as anxiety, depression, problems with adjustment, or you're feeling like what you're doing just isn't good enough, therapy can help you to determine what roadblocks you are experiencing and how to move past them. Maybe you've experienced a traumatic event that has left you stuck and fragmented, or maybe your job is sucking the life out of you. Recognizing how our past experiences are affecting our current circumstances can alleviate some of the pressure and weight you are feeling on your shoulders. Even having a safe place to process everyday life events can improve one's mood and even physical health. In this day and age, where pushing ourselves to the limit is accepted and even encouraged, our self-care can be sometimes put at the bottom of our to-do lists. Taking the time out to nourish the most deeply rooted parts of ourselves can lead to amazing satisfaction, growth, and self-actualization.
