Are you struggling with a sexual issue? Do you have trouble connecting to your partner? Do you desire a more close, intimate, engaging relationship? I have helped many clients successfully bridge the gap between sex and intimacy as well as heal from a host of various sexual dysfunctions including: low sexual desire, vaginismus/vulvadynia, sexual inexperience, erectile dysfunction, and sexual and pornography addictions. In addition to working with individuals struggling with sexual issues, I also see clients dealing with a range of other concerns including: anxiety; bi-polar disorder, depression; family conflict and/or reunification, and parenting stress. Not only do I love working with individuals and couples but I also have clinical specialties working with children, adolescents, teenagers and families.

Fees and polices
$160 per 50 minute session.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking at a minimum the following questions of your insurer:
Do I have mental health benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
A superbill will be provided if you wish to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, or you cancel without notifying me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full fee. Insurance will not pay for missed or late canceled sessions.
You will be charged at the beginning of every session so we can end on a more therapeutic note.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
A cornucopia of modalities and theories guide my practice. I pull from whatever I find useful for the client including cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and gestalt therapy. I am an active therapist. I listen closely, ask a lot of questions, yet I have a conversational style, much like talking to a friend. My goal is to get you unstuck with whatever issue is holding you back and weighing you down. When working with couples, I use an Inter-analytic Couples Therapy. This therapy gets to the heart of what are the underlying feelings. I help to teach couples a different way of talking to one another, and more importantly, listening to one another.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Seeing a therapist is almost an act of bravery. It takes a lot of courage to come to someone to explore your inner most thoughts. To seek out someone, to help guide you through a difficult time, or to over come some emotional bondage can be scary, but extraordinarily helpful. It is not necessary to 'white knuckle' through life. The words I hear most often from clients are "I wish I had come to therapy earlier, I would not have wasted so much time."
