My Approach to Helping
I support teens and young adults in building coping skills and navigating anxiety, identity, stress, and life transitions.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready to explore more about yourself, I am here to help you navigate these challenges. I am an associate marriage and family therapist employed by Chambliss and Associates, MFT Inc., and I am passionate about supporting adolescents, teens, and young adults as they navigate anxiety, identity, self-esteem, school, relationships, and life transitions.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an elementary educator and school counselor, which gives me a deep understanding of the social, academic, and emotional experiences young people face.
I offer individual therapy for adolescents, teens, and young adults who are dealing with anxiety, self-esteem difficulties, academic or life pressures, and relationship challenges. I earned my master’s in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. My style is warm and collaborative to help you understand your experiences, build coping strategies, and reconnect with your strengths, values, and sense of self. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic and strengths-based perspectives to support you.
I offer virtual sessions throughout California, and provide a free initial consultation so you can get a feel for working together. Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child, or a person reaching out for yourself, I am here to help guide the process with care and collaboration. I am supervised by Cathy Chambliss, LMFT 39875.
