Six Common Myths of Private Practice Marketing

Presented by Kate Campbell, PhD, LMFT and Katie Lemieux, LMFT on 09-13-2019 at 9 a.m. Pacific (noon Eastern) to 10:30 a.m. Pacific (1:30 p.m. Eastern)

Many clinicians jump into private practice hoping to fulfill their dream of helping others and living their dream life. Even after doing their research and talking to the right people, sometimes things with their business just do not go the way they planned.

“Frustration” does not begin to describe the disappointment; “stress” does not begin to convey the worry. Clinicians can become overwhelmed and exhausted doing everything they can to make their private practice successful. They may even consider giving up on their dreams.

In this 90-minute webinar, Kate Campbell, PhD, LMFT and Katie Lemieux, LMFT will discuss how mental health professionals in private practice can take the mystery out of marketing. They will also discuss how to avoid falling for six common myths that could be preventing success in private practice.

This introductory instructional level marketing webinar is designed to help clinicians:

  1. Analyze how to reduce risk in private practice.
  2. Discuss how branding and niching can set them apart in a crowded market place.
  3. Recognize ways therapists can make the best marketers.
  4. Observe how doing too many things may be hurting their business.
  5. Describe how to avoid one of the biggest mistakes in marketing.
