My Approach to Helping

It isn't what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about. Dale Carnegie (American lecturer, author, 1888-1955)More than any other factor, peace of mind is paramount to leading a satisfying and productive life. Yet for so many individuals, psychiatric tranquility remains an unfamiliar and elusive concept. We frequently ignore our psychological needs in order to manage the material aspects of our lives. We repeat the same mistakes, thought patterns, and counter-productive behaviors without realizing that these are all treatable symptoms of psychiatric illness. When you come into my office I will take the requisite time to gain a comprehensive understanding of your symptoms and to develop an appropriate treatment plan based on your specific symptoms and goals. My services include a multidimensional psychosocial evaluation, individual or family/couples psychotherapy, and the medication management of acute symptoms as necessary. All services are provided in a warm, compassionate, and confidential setting.
