My Approach to Helping
I believe therapy should be an enlightening experience. I use a variety of approaches as determined by you or your child's needs. For children under 10, play therapy with art, drama, sand tray are most effective. Play therapy allows children to communicate in their natural language. Therapy becomes a much anticipated weekly experience where children learn, grow and heal at their own pace. With adolescents and adults I use a variety of talk therapy, art, guided imagery, relaxation, written expression and sand tray. Using a variety of methods allows individuals to unlock healing potential and address difficulties from different angles.
