My Approach to Helping

I have a passion for helping children and teens see the strengths they possess and move beyond stumbling blocks. I believe what we focus on grows. There aren't "bad kids" or "bad parents" but there are circumstances and cycles that can bring out or reinforce unwanted behaviors, responses, and reactions. Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in what's not working and to minimize the strengths all around. I help children and teens to feel good about themselves as beings. They learn to articulate needs and feelings in a way that empowers them as children and young adults, as well as process trauma, anxiety, or sadness. Parents learn how to empower their children and create a stronger connection.

Adults that work with me work through underlying issues of self esteem and trauma that might be creating symptoms or circumstances in their daily life. I'm here to nudge and guide you to help see your inner brilliance. You have all the answers, but I will help you get out of your way to uncover them.
