My Approach to Helping

My practice is informed by the needs of my clients to heal, change and grow. To eliminate the emotional blocks and negative cognitions that keeps them from living their lives to the fullest. My training and education was in Family Counseling and Therapy. I am certified in Ericksonian Hypnosis and the treatment of Military Service based PTSD I have extensive experience in use of therapeutic relaxation and guided imagery. Each process and technique supports the other for more effective treatment. I have been using EMDR in my practice since 1996. I am awed by its power to free a person from the cycle of anxiety, panic, pain, anger, fear...drug and/or alcohol abuse. As a psychotherapist, with 30 years of experience, it is the treatment of choice for brief effective outcomes. I am currently accepting new client based on presenting problem with some or form of anxiety disorder as described above. Fees are based on an hourly basis, in cash, check or deposited in Paypal.

Survivors of family abuse, physical, psychological and emotional. First and second responders dealing with aftermath with critical incident debriefing and stress relief. I have worked with substance and alcohol abusers, with success, as they are mental health and behavior disorders.
