My approach to the therapeutic relationship is rooted in compassion. I meet you where you are on your unique journey. My therapeutic approaches are solution-focused, trauma-informed care and client-centered. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as a path to healing, and I also draw on my experience in grief therapy. We all grieve someone or something at some point in our lives. I enjoy supporting individuals as they move through that process. Grief is not linear. It is specific to each person, just as our DNA is. I also use motivational interviewing as a technique. I focus on providing the individuals I work with coping mechanisms to support stability beyond our time together, whether they are engaging in grief therapy, pursuing posttraumatic stress (PTSD) therapy, or exploring treatment for PTSD.
