What's My Approach to Therapy?
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and strength-based. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and change when provided with the right support and tools. My role is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected.
I work with clients to explore the experiences, patterns, and challenges that may be impacting their emotional well-being. Together, we identify practical strategies that help build resilience, improve coping skills, and support meaningful change in daily life.
My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care. I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs, helping them develop skills to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges.
I believe therapy should move at the client’s pace while focusing on building insight, emotional regulation, and healthier patterns that support long-term well-being.
