My Approach to Helping
It can be difficult to seek help and decide to make significant changes in your life. You may be facing a new problem, want to change behaviors, need healing from your past, or maybe you are going through a personal crisis. I partner with you in a collaborative manner, providing expertise and guidance to help you learn more about yourself, make lasting change, and create the life you desire. You will experience new ways to access your potential, apply creative solutions to your problems, and integrate actions that make a difference in your life. You will achieve personal growth, healing, improved coping skills, and better care for yourself and your relationships with my individualized and comprehensive treatment approach.
When you meet me, you will find me to be a warm, friendly, and authentic person who is comfortable and easy to be with. My experience enables me to work effectively with people who want relief from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, self-harm, grief, and trauma. For those who are interested, I offer integrating experiential and expressive arts therapies (art, clay, music, sandtray, and journaling) into our work together. I also teach mindfulness skills, which have been proven to change the structure of the brain.
My office is located at Sentido Center LLC. When you come to our space you will find a tranquil, peaceful place designed for you. There is a meditation room, a studio where yoga and Nia classes are offered, a full kitchen, an art room, and a waiting room that provides a calming space for you to prepare for your session.
Through Sentido Center LLC, I work with a team of professionals who is able to provide adjunctive services, such as Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, dance/movement therapy, EMDR, nutritional counseling, wellness and coaching, and intensive outpatient programs for eating disorders and trauma.
You do not have to be in this alone! There is hope!
