My Approach to Helping

Have you or your child experienced trauma or instability, such as conflict, divorce, substance abuse, etc.? Has your child been given a diagnoses of ADHD, Oppositional-Defiant Disorder, or other psychiatric label? I specialize in working with children, teens, and families who have experienced trauma or instability and the symptoms that often follow, like hyperactivity, anger and aggression, social withdrawal, inability to focus, and so on.

I practice Interrelational Therapy, a holistic approach to child and family therapy that emphasizes and utilizes the interrelated nature of our bodies, minds, and relationships.

Striving for more than mere symptom reduction, this approach is directed towards healing and developing these relationships, towards healthier and happier families and communities.

My style is caring and curious, honest and straightforward, utilizing humor and play when appropriate.

I look forward to speaking with you more about my approach and how I can help.
