My Approach to Helping

Joy, satisfaction and wholeness are our natural states. My role as therapist is to help you identify and clear the blocks that interfere with feeling more alive, blocks which often have their origin in early life experiences.I believe in a strongly integrative approach to therapy in which mind, body and spirit all play a part and can be included in the process of healing. Mindfulness is key! I feel passionate about helping you grow and overcome the fears that have kept you from going after what you want and deserve: a life that includes inner peace, joy, and satisfaction.

More Info About My Practice

After nearly 30 years I am now a fee for service practices. I strongly believe that the client and therapist should be in charge of the course of therapy, and not a for-profit company. However, I also appreciate that many people cannot afford therapy, even with a reduced fee, and rely heavily on their health insurance. I am happy to offer a sliding scale if you are not using insurance or if I am out of network with your insurance company. The fee reduction will determined when we meet and is decided on a case-by-case basis.

I am also happy to provide you with a monthly receipt that you can submit to your insurance for possible out of network benefits.
