My Approach to Helping

How have recent events been affecting you? Are you becoming aware of patterns that seem to have been manifesting in your life for awhile, ones that you would like to understand and change? How your day to day experiences, both present and past, make you feel think and react will be the focus of our work together. As we talk on a regular basis over time, our ongoing and deepening conversation will be the way to work together to understand how you came to the point you're at today, and how and where you would like to go from here. I believe that the more we understand together, the more change is possible.I know that even if starting to look for a therapist feels essential, the search to find that person can be challenging. It entails choosing who to work with as you focus inward; contemplating what experiences and people in your life have contributed to making you who you are and exploring what and how you would like to change. I understand that we might meet and "click" and start working together right away, or that I might be one of the people you need to see before making a decision.
