What's My Approach to Therapy?
Many of the people who find their way to me are carrying far more than anyone around them realizes. You may be doing your best to hold everything together on the outside, while privately wrestling with anxiety, self-doubt, painful memories, or patterns you can’t seem to break, no matter how hard you try.
If you’re tired of just coping and want support as you explore the possibility of more relief, clarity, or freedom in your life, you’re in the right place.
In our work together, I show up as a real human being—grounded, steady, and warm. I’m not here to judge or pick you apart. I’m here to sit beside you, listen deeply, and help your nervous system do what it naturally knows how to do: heal, process, and release what’s been overwhelming.
My style blends intuition with structure.
I help clients slow down, stay present, and build stability from the inside out. My intention is to meet you where you are, offering collaboration and care, rather than detached analysis. I offer clarity, thoughtful reflection, and a gentle ability to notice what matters, even when it’s hard to put into words. Expect curiosity, compassion, and, when it’s helpful, honest insight that supports your growth.
A core part of how I work is through eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-informed therapy used to support the brain in processing experiences that felt too big, or too fast, at the time they happened. We begin by building safety and resources, identify what feels stuck, and then use eye movement desensitization and reprocessing to work with the emotional weight you’ve been carrying. Many clients find themselves gaining insight, developing emotional regulation skills, and reconnecting with self-trust.
Healing isn’t about pushing harder, it’s about meeting yourself where you are, and finally letting go of what no longer belongs in your present. When you’re ready to take that journey, I’d be honored to walk with you.
