My Approach to Helping
My style is collaborative. I believe that my clients are looking for three things when they come into my office: 1-Encouragement that their pain or negative situation will lessen or end, 2-An opportunity to be heard and validated for their feelings and experiences, 3-A plan of action designed to improve their lives. My clients often report that they feel empowered after working with me. I try to offer more than one solution to a problem so that my clients may choose the one that best suits them. I enjoy working with couples and families as well as individuals. I am skilled at connecting my clients to resources that will help them and I am able to help them discover meaning in their lives. I offer a relaxing, safe environment in which my clients may work through their personal challenges.
