I believe counseling is intended to help you with making changes. Your changes may entail thinking differently, feeling differently, and/or acting differently. I have a goal-oriented, humor based, direct style of therapy that is intended to help you make those changes. I believe that every person has the potential to be successful in all areas but at times may not have the skills to accomplish their goals. I focus on the strengths of my clients while I work with them to identify therapeutic issues and moves quickly toward a working plan to find solutions. I focus on assisting clients in moving forward toward skill development and problem-resolution. I educate people about healthy relationships and assist them in developing the skills needed to achieve health in relationships and their personal lives.
