My Approach to Helping

My approach comes mostly from the Cognitive Behavior Theory. One of the key concepts of this Theory that I found to be of interest is the idea that changing the way a person looks at themselves will ultimately have an effect on how they view others around them. People can quit smoking, make more friends, enjoy their jobs that much more, like themselves more, and appreciate loved ones all through the way we view life and the thought process behind it. A Cognitive Theorist motto might be View the glass as half full. However, I understand that not always does one theory work for everyone, therefore, I also subscribe to a few other forms of therapy in order to help my client to the fullest.
