I am a provider of genuine care, authentic love, and open ears. My therapy models reflect this approach - I use Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy [AEDP] to co-regulate painful wounds and emotions. This is done by me attuning to your affective experience, in connectedness and empathy.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
The purpose of psychotherapy is heal a wound that collectively impacts cognition, behaviors, and emotions. For years, the focus on psychology andpsychotherapy has been on thoughts and behaviors - but only recently did we start to focus on affectemotions. That is my focus and i believe the purpose of psychotherapy: affect.
